Bringing Clean Water and Health to Anuradhapura Communities
6th June marks the official dedication and opening of the 6th well project at The Salvation Army property in Kalattawa, Anuradhapura, providing safe water access to 702 families and 1,850 individuals. The event was graced by Colonels James and Sue Betts from The Salvation Army USA National Headquarters, along with local government officials and district leaders. Funded generously by SAWSO and The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory, this project is the 32nd well constructed in the North Central Province, addressing critical health challenges like kidney disease linked to unsafe water. We thank God, our donors, and the dedicated project and leadership teams for their committed efforts in bringing clean water, hope, and life-saving support to the community.
